Update

Thank you everyone who has written, called, and just plain been there for me over the last 2 weeks. I am starting to do better now. I have accepted what has happened and I am moving on with my life. I know that I can move on and do better things with my life and that is what I plan to do. I know that it is not going to be easy, if I could just get me and the girls to not be sick it would be easier. The girls have both had pink eye in the past 2 weeks and now I have a cold and I believe Khalia is also getting it. Please continue to pray for us. Thank you to everyone that already has been and to everyone that has been helping us with just everyday activities that are now harder. I appreciate everyone of you and so do the girls.

My Life is becoming less complicated!

Well as many of you already know, my husband and I have been have some difficulties. I do not want to dwell on this subject but I felt I needed to say something, probably more as therapy for me. I have made a big decision and I am getting a divorce. I have fought with this decision for a while now, but it is time. My biggest worry is for my girls, but I know that with my help they will be just fine. I just wanted to thank all of you who are helping me through this. I greatly appreciate all the support and knowing I'm doing the right thing.

Mya is 9 months old!

Mya is getting so big! She went to the doctor for her 9month check up last week. She is now 21 lbs 8 oz and 27 5/8 in. She is trying to move around more. As you can see below she is starting to get into things.

She still only has two teeth but the top two teeth look like they could come anytime. She is now drinking out of a sippy cup. We are trying to wean her off the pacifier, she is still using it mostly at night. She is starting to play games and get more and more of a personality. Her big sister is beginning to really be able to play with her and it is wonderful to watch them.

The First Day of Pre-K

Today was Khalia's 1st day of Pre-K. She was very excited last night. She kept asking if she was going to school when she wakes up. She helped me pick out her clothes and make her lunch. Ryan brought her to school and picked her up because I was working. I think it was better that way. I thought about her all day long. She had a great 1st day. She was a little disappointed that they did not color today. Her exact words were "I didn't get to color today, Do I have to wait for High School to color?" She is too funny. They have a folder which the kids bring back and forth and that is how they give the parents papers and the kids behavior grade for each day. Khalia got a smiley face today and was very proud. Ryan said the teachers loved her and did not want to let her go when he went to pick her up. It's just hard to believe my little baby is now in pre-K. Guess she is not so little anymore!

All the Jones Girls!

The other day I had all of the Jones girls at my house and I was the only adult. It was a very interesting time. Steph had to go to the ER for her gallstones and I was watching Kiera and Alexis along with my two girls. This is the best picture I could get with me being the only adult and trying not to let Kiera hurt Alexis while holding her.

Lia loves holding her baby cousin, Alexis. She is loving being a mini mommy to her.

Mya has been getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth. She is moving around quite a bit by scooting backward on her belly and moving forward at times.

Yesterday Lia called me while I was doing some school work on the computer. I turned around and this is what I saw...

Apparently, my 4 year old layed on her back and picked up her sister (who by the way weighs over 20lbs) and put her on her stomach. Mya was just loving it, but it scared me a little.

I have started my Masters in Nursing classes and my life is very full right now between working full-time, spending time with Rye and the girls, and school.

Khalia starts Pre-k next week and she is very excited. It's hard to believe that she is 4 years old and starting school. I'm sure she will be just fine. She loves going to Sunday School and cries because I pick her up when it's over, because she doesn't want to leave. I will be sure to post pictures of her first day of school.

Christmas

Today was Mya's first Christmas. Mya now has two bottom teeth and she loves to show them off:)

Lia has actually started to understand Christmas. Lia woke up at 7:30am which isn't too bad. She made sure she got everyone up to open gifts. For the most part Mya liked anything she could chew (including tissue paper that I had to try and get out of her mouth as it disintegrated).
Lia was very excited about all her crafts. She loves any kind of craft. After our morning gifts at our house we went to mom's to have Christmas with Grandma, Grandpa, and Steph and family. That was a blast. Kiera and Khalia passed out gifts, which was interesting. Alexis slept through most of her 1st Christmas but she was only 1 1/2 weeks old. We ate lunch at mom's and spent a nice day with family.

Thanksgiving 2008

This year we went to Mom's for Thanksgiving. Steph, Dwayne, and Kiera came, along with Grandma and Grandad. Khalia and Kiera were running around like crazy as usual when they are at Nana's house. Steph is ready to have Alexis anytime now. Aamya enjoyed trying new foods at Thanksgiving Dinner. This year my Birthday landed on Thanksgiving day so we had pumpkin pie with Candles:)
This year our family has so much to be thankful for. We finally got our miracle baby Aamya after 2 Miscarriages. Steph is pregnant with yet another girl to add to our family. She is due December 31st. I am graduating this December with my Bachelor's in Nursing. Just 2 days before Thanksgiving I was in a car accident. Thank God the kids were not with me. I was on my way home from work. I was not injured, just sore. My car on the other hand has $3400 in damage. So I am also thankful for good insurance.
