The First Day of Pre-K

Today was Khalia's 1st day of Pre-K. She was very excited last night. She kept asking if she was going to school when she wakes up. She helped me pick out her clothes and make her lunch. Ryan brought her to school and picked her up because I was working. I think it was better that way. I thought about her all day long. She had a great 1st day. She was a little disappointed that they did not color today. Her exact words were "I didn't get to color today, Do I have to wait for High School to color?" She is too funny. They have a folder which the kids bring back and forth and that is how they give the parents papers and the kids behavior grade for each day. Khalia got a smiley face today and was very proud. Ryan said the teachers loved her and did not want to let her go when he went to pick her up. It's just hard to believe my little baby is now in pre-K. Guess she is not so little anymore!

All the Jones Girls!

The other day I had all of the Jones girls at my house and I was the only adult. It was a very interesting time. Steph had to go to the ER for her gallstones and I was watching Kiera and Alexis along with my two girls. This is the best picture I could get with me being the only adult and trying not to let Kiera hurt Alexis while holding her.

Lia loves holding her baby cousin, Alexis. She is loving being a mini mommy to her.

Mya has been getting up on her knees and rocking back and forth. She is moving around quite a bit by scooting backward on her belly and moving forward at times.

Yesterday Lia called me while I was doing some school work on the computer. I turned around and this is what I saw...

Apparently, my 4 year old layed on her back and picked up her sister (who by the way weighs over 20lbs) and put her on her stomach. Mya was just loving it, but it scared me a little.

I have started my Masters in Nursing classes and my life is very full right now between working full-time, spending time with Rye and the girls, and school.

Khalia starts Pre-k next week and she is very excited. It's hard to believe that she is 4 years old and starting school. I'm sure she will be just fine. She loves going to Sunday School and cries because I pick her up when it's over, because she doesn't want to leave. I will be sure to post pictures of her first day of school.
